I think the forum Idea is shockingly shit.
How ever the Real ID in game is quite a good thing meaning cross sever chatting and not interrupting some game aspects its quite slick .

I agree it's good if there is something that locks a user down to one name or a consistent point of contact, but real name is open to a certain amount of abuse

Getting somebodies name is one step away from finding out lots about them. I don't go for the stalker type issue, but identity theft is a problem to a greater or lesser extent, with employers maybe googling things you've said on a public forum
